Personal data
The data controller is the publisher, CLOUDGRID ENERGY (see above), reachable at contact@cloudgridenergy.com. In line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, here is the only data processed. CLOUDGRID ENERGY has not appointed a data protection officer, as this is not mandatory for its activities.
- Email exchanges
- Address, name and message when you write to us, to answer your request and, where relevant, prepare a business relationship. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Kept for 3 years from the last exchange.
- Technical logs
- IP address, date and time, requested page and browser, recorded by the hosting provider to keep the site secure and running. Legal basis: legitimate interest and the host's legal obligation (GDPR art. 6(1)(c) and (f)). Kept for up to 12 months (French Decree No. 2021-1362 of 20 October 2021).
- Audience measurement
- Page views, clicks on our contact buttons, referring page, country, device type and browser, measured by Umami, installed on our own server: nothing is sent to a third party. Your IP address is not kept; it is used only to infer the country and to count visits without identifying you. Purpose: knowing which pages and content are useful. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Kept for up to 25 months.
This data is accessible only to authorised CLOUDGRID ENERGY staff and to the hosting provider Hostinger International Ltd, acting as a processor. The site is hosted in Paris and Hostinger International Ltd is based in Cyprus: this data stays within the European Union. This data is never sold or used for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (GDPR art. 15 to 22), and the right to set instructions regarding your data after your death (French law).
To exercise them, write to contact@cloudgridenergy.com: we reply within one month. If you then believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr).
Governing law
This notice is governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute relating to the site falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
